June 1, 2011 - September 25, 2011

Thank you for your interest in entering the ArtQuilt Elements 2012 exhibit.
The exhibition dates are March 30, 2012 to May 13, 2012 and will be held at the Wayne Art Center,
413 Maplewood Avenue, Wayne PA 19087.

AQE 2012 is the 10th Exhibition of this internationally acclaimed show set in suburban Philadelphia.
"One of the distinctions of our show is our professional presentation of art quilts.  The exhibition has been widely praised by reviewers and artists not only for exhibiting the quilts in a gallery setting but also for
promoting the art quilt as an art form."

The Jurors

We are privileged to have the highly qualified team of jurors for the 2012 exhibit:

Elizabeth Barton, Ph.D., quilt artist and educator.
David Revere McFadden Chief Curator and Vice President for Programs
and Collections at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City.
Dr. Sandra Sider, SAQA President, quilt artist, educator.

Our jurors make up an eclectic panel with diverse perspectives and backgrounds. They will judge the work based on its technique, design, originality and craftsmanship. It is important to send professional high quality images.  Accepted artists must supply a digital image of at least 1800 pixels on the longest side to be included in the catalog.

The Committee

AQE is the collaborative effort of quilt artists who work year round as volunteers to produce this biennial exhibition. They are committed to providing this opportunity for other quilt artists to share their work in this extraordinary space.
